From President Kirsty Stark:

At Tuesday’s meeting we welcomed Ashley Tudo, who was one of Magill Sunrise’s two sponsored attendees at RYLA, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards for ages 18-25 year.

Ashley gave us a fantastic insight into the huge range of topics and seminars that are covered at RYLA, including How to Win Friends and Influence People (based on one of her favourite books by Dale Carnegie).

Ashley is in her final year studying Commerce/Accounting at Adelaide Uni and is widely involved as a leader in the community, including as President of one of her university clubs, and as a RYPEN Leader in Sunraysia this year.

Ashley credits RYLA in setting her on this journey, saying that previously she saw herself as a leader but without really being involved – and now she loves being involved in so many extra challenges.

It’s always fantastic to see the achievements of the students that we support, and I know everyone at the club could see Ashley’s potential as a future leader due to her great personality and communication style.

Congratulations Ashley, and please let us know about your future achievements!
