This week’s guest speaker was David Cockshell from RARE (Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment), formerly known as Donations in Kind (DIK). David began with a bit of standup comedy using these acronyms. Dave joined Rotary in 2001 with RC Gawler Light. He has held many positions in the club since then, including President in 2005/6. Following that he was Assistant Governor Group 9 in District 9500 for 3 years. Since 2010 he has been the Chairman/Regional Manager of Donations in Kind – Central Region (now RARE).There are five national regions for RARE under the auspices of RAWCS. RCMS Bulletin 1271
